Delivery Types
There are two delivery methods available. The delivery type can be selected at the time of booking and can later be changed at the destination office based on the consignee’s convenience.
Office Delivery
In this method, the consignee collects the goods directly from the nearest office. No charges are applied if the goods are collected within 7 days from arrival. After 7 days, a nominal delay charge will be applied
Door Delivery
In this method, goods are delivered to the consignee’s address from the nearest office. If local transport such as auto, van, Tata Ace, or third-party services are used, a nominal delivery charge will be collected. This charge is not included in the base freight cost.
Prohibited Items
The following items are strictly prohibited for transportation: Rationed goods and gas cylinders Sandalwood, forest products, bones, horns, and smuggled goods Drugs, alcohol, petrol, diesel, kerosene, oils, and acids Country medicines, jaggery, and related items Explosives such as RDX, gelatin sticks, and phosphorus Fireworks, matchboxes, and flammable materials Weapons, ammunition, raw leather, hides, and skins Human or animal dead bodies Batteries with acid and charcoal Unpacked goods like cotton bales and dry leaves Currency, gold, silver, diamonds, and valuable items Any items banned by government authorities
Restricted Items (Conditions Apply)
The following items are accepted under specific conditions: Bikes: Must be properly packed, petrol drained, and RC copy attached Books: Allowed only with payment terms Samples & Stones: Accepted with applicable charges
GST Details
GST rules for transport services are as follows: 5% GST is applicable on total freight charges GST under Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM) is payable by the consignor or consignee if they fall under: Registered factories Companies under the Companies Act Corporations and legal entities Registered societies and cooperative societies Dealers under the Central Excise Act Any corporate body established under law
